Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is well-known American actor. Kellie Martin has appeared in numerous TV series, including "Christy" which is a drama about a young woman called Christy Huddleston. Kellie Martin is best known for her part as the protagonist on her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin, the daughter of a department-store purchaser and kindergarten teacher began her professional career in acting when she was seven, when her aunt who worked as an nanny for actor Michael Landon's children assisted Martin land a role in 1983's show "Father Murphy". After graduating of Yale University she began to take acting seriously, landing roles on both the small and large screen. In addition to being an actress Martin is also a talented photographer as well as a ballet dancer. Her sister, who died of Lupus at the age of 19, inspired her to become the Lupus national spokesperson.
